dr. li is a research fellow of domestic development cooperation department, institute of new structural economics, peking university. she obtained her ph.d. in human geography from the institute of geographic sciences and natural resources research, chinese academy of sciences, and she is also a member of the resource-based cities professional committee of the china society of natural resources. specializing in policy consulting on national economic development, regional planning, and industrial planning, she has led or participated in dozens of consulting and research projects commissioned by the national development and reform commission (ndrc), ministry of industry and information technology (miit), ministry of science and technology, chinese academy of engineering, and local governments. several project outcomes have received official recognition and adoption, with coverage by economic daily and yicai global. she has also published extensively in leading journals such as bulletin of the chinese academy of sciences, china energy news, and think tank: theory & practice.
