stable financial support for the inse is the driving force and source of theoretical innovation, discipline construction, talents cultivation, academic exchange, think tank construction and policy practice.
currently, the inse sets up three types of funds, of which the “education development fund” and the “chair professorship fund” are non-expendable, and the “student education fund” is expendable. the principal of non-expendable fund will be permanently retained, with their revenues being used to support activities of inse, while the expendable fund means its principal will also be used for specified purposes.
education development fund
the development fund provides stable financial support for the development of the inse, covering teaching and research activities, international academic exchanges, global frontier cooperation, talents cultivation, and the construction of databases and case libraries. the donation for the education development fund is rmb 300 million.
chair professorship fund
the chair professorship fund is the highest honor the inse offers to faculty members, representing the forefront of the teaching and research of nse. the donation for each chair professorship is rmb 20 million, which will be used to retain outstanding talents by raising the competitiveness of salaries of the awardees.
student education fund
the student education fund is to support the phd program, cultivating high-quality talents for the society. the minimum amount of donation for the education fund shall be rmb 1 million. the fund will be used as phd scholarship to encourage students to keep making progress, pursue excellence, so that they can do a good job in serving the motherland and the society in the future.
